Hermanas Unidas de UC Berkeley have consistently dedicated countless hours to not only the Berkeley area where they reside but also to the surrounding Bay Area including Oakland and San Francisco. Some of our involvement includes but not limited to:

The Community Service Chair serves to empower new and continuing Hermanas by developing the skills necessary to encourage them to devote their time to their communities, whether it be here in Berkeley or wherever they may call home.
- Dia de los Muertos Festival in Oakland
- Volunteering at the Alameda Food Bank
- Brown bagging fresh lunches for the homeless
- Making Hygiene kits with feminine products
